NTU Ventures - Investment Associate

Role Overview

As an Investment Associate at NTU Ventures, you will manage full cycles of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in early-stage startups. Your contributions will directly impact the growth of ventures emerging from NTU's vibrant innovation ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess high-potential startups within NTU's ecosystem and beyond.

• Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.

• Investment Execution: Prepare and present investment memos to the investment committee, and assist in structuring and negotiating deal terms.

• Portfolio Management: Monitor portfolio company performance, provide strategic support, and assist in follow-on funding rounds.

• Ecosystem Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with NTU entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and support portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting and building the NTU entrepreneurial ecosystem.

• Demonstrated ability to lead investment processes from sourcing to execution.

• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant investment experience, preferably within deep technology, engineering, or biotech/healthcare sectors.

• An academic degree in Business, Engineering, Medicine, or a related field is preferred; an NTU graduate is preferred.
