Bryan is the founder of LANDED and a former New York VC who led investments for two New York based VC funds, including one backed solely by the state of New York through the ESD program. Prior to starting LANDED, Bryan also worked in equity research on the #1 institutional investor ranked healthcare research team in the US.
Aside from leading the investment process to back early-stage startups across 5 verticals, Bryan also serves as a venture scout collaborating with 50+ VC funds across the West Coast, Midwest, and East Coast to support top founders developing disruptive technology.
Tony is a serial entrepreneur and PhD engineer who specializes in turning complex friction into seamless digital solutions. From authoring 17 patents in biotech R&D to founding USeDirect, which revolutionized park management and was acquired by Tyler Technologies in 2022, Tony’s career is defined by high-impact problem solving.
He is currently the founder of Enigma Vault, where he leads an elite team in developing advanced encryption to secure the world's most sensitive data.
Dr. Wayne Liu is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Growth Officer of Perfect Corp., where he has led global growth, strategic partnerships, and the company’s evolution into a publicly listed firm on the NYSE. Since 2015, he has built the company’s foundation by recruiting key talent and establishing collaborations with major beauty brands and retailers, including Estée Lauder, Walmart, Google, and Sephora.
Previously, Dr. Liu held engineering and leadership roles at NVIDIA, Intel, and Broadcom, and was a designer of NVIDIA’s shader processor architecture—now widely used in AI and advanced graphics computing.
For the last four years, Jim has worked with ManchesterStory, a seed-to-A round VC fund, leading investments such as XP Health, OpenLoop, and Ciba Health. Jim also worked closely with the CVC/Corp Dev teams of 20+ large insurers on market research and corporate development deal sourcing. Before joining ManchesterStory, Jim had 1.5 years of experience with Stadia Ventures, an accelerator focused on sport tech, as well as founded an e-commerce startup.
Jim holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Banking from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
Richard Chan is a College of Business professor at Stony Brook University with 15+ years of expertise in entrepreneurial finance.
Richard is a dedicated advocate for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship at Stony Brook University (SBU). Serving as the Director of the Innovation Center of the College of Business, Richard has partnered with passionate entrepreneurs and organizations to jointly bridge the gap between academia and the startup ecosystem and shape the future of aspiring SBU and regional entrepreneurs.
Eytan Wiener is the Founder and Managing Partner of Potentiate Ventures, a firm that helps high-growth e-commerce, logistics, and SaaS companies scale through strategic support, capital, and hands-on guidance.
Previously, he co-founded and served as COO of Quantum Networks, where he led the company to over 4,500% revenue growth. He later played a key leadership role driving global expansion at GETIDA, which was later acquired by SIB in 2022.
I-Chien Jan (IC) is a veteran venture investor with two decades of experience scaling startups across Asia and the US. From co-founding AppWorks to his current role as Managing Director of Taiwan Global Angels, IC has a proven track record of identifying and funding high-growth talent, overseeing over $20M in investments since 2022. A specialist in healthcare innovation and a mentor for Berkeley SkyDeck, he bridges the gap between Taiwan’s manufacturing excellence and the global tech ecosystem to drive international expansion for emerging startups.
Val is currently building her fourth startup, having previously been a founder or early employee in three others.
Val excels at bridging the gap between product and business teams. She is particularly passionate about Product-Led Growth (PLG) principles, go-to-market strategies, and early product validation, focusing on B2B markets.
Ming-Yuan is a seasoned entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of hands-on experience across industries—from e-commerce and retail to software and defense.
With experience raising over $5 million for his own company, Ming-Yuan has since then led several companies to over $10 million in annual revenue, and experienced both major wins and hard losses. Today, he helps founders navigate market validation, fundraising, and exit strategies with deep, battle-tested insight.
Eliza Hong is an Associate Attorney in the Corporate department at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP, with prior experience at the New York City Commission on Human Rights, the Chicago News Guild of the Communication Workers of America, and legal tech company Josef.
They earned a J.D. from Cornell Law School, where they held leadership roles and developed a tenant rights chatbot presented at the American Bar Association. Eliza also holds a B.A. with distinction from Mary Baldwin University in an interdisciplinary major, with a minor in Conflict Resolution.
Dennis Lee is a seasoned venture capitalist and angel investor with over 20 years of experience connecting the U.S. and Taiwan technology ecosystems. As Silicon Valley Partner at Sustainable Impact Capital (SIC), he focuses on investing in and supporting startups using AI and sustainable technologies.
He is also the founder of the Trans-Pacific Angel Conference and a frequent speaker and mentor at international tech summits. Dennis actively promotes U.S.-Taiwan collaboration and recently facilitated the MOU between SIC and the Arizona Commerce Authority, helping Taiwanese tech companies use Arizona as a launchpad into the U.S. market.
Howard Chen is the Founder and CEO of Rovex.ai, where he develops AI-powered video analysis tools for the film and media industry. He previously served as a Project Manager at TONX.ai and FDC.ai, and brings extensive experience in both artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.
Active in the startup ecosystems of Taiwan and the United States, he aims to help more companies successfully establish themselves in the U.S. and accelerate their growth through LANDED.
